Phantom Ball
Zonta Phantom Ball Logo.jpg

Each year the Zonta Club of Lockport conducts a Phantom Ball in the spring and names a worthy community project as beneficiary of the Phantom Ball revenues.

The Zonta Club of Lockport sends an invitation to be received by mail on

April 1st (April Fools' Day).

By purchasing a "ticket" to the ball, patrons are spared the expenses of

buying a new dress, renting a tuxedo, or hiring a babysitter.

Additionally, they can relax at home knowing they have supported a

very worthwhile community project.

2021 was our 54th Annual Phantom Ball

Applications from non-profit agencies requesting funds are accepted up until

November 1st for the next year's event.  Requests for more information on the

application process can be sent to:

Proceeds from this year’s Phantom Ball benefited

Save the Michaels of the World, Inc.,

an organization dedicated to providing placement for treatment

and wraparound services for those struggling with addiction.

Specifically, the funds collected this year will be used at

Save the Michael’s House of Hope Niagara - Women’s Services

to work with women (including pregnant women) and women with children.

The Lockport facility is the first and only recovery center in our area.

Since women struggling with addiction are vulnerable and have few

avenues for recovery, the funds raised will be used for woman’s programs.

Contributions help ensure that these organizations will be able to implement

these very important programs.

About Save The Michaels Of The World (STMOTW)

Save the Michaels raises awareness of prescription and other drug addictions.

Abuse and misuse of these controlled substances leads to serious illness,

depression, deaths from overdose and suicide, and the devastation of

caregivers and loved ones.

Save the Michaels House of Hope and Community Resources supports

families during their loved one's journey through addiction and into remission.

We provide a nurturing and supportive environment to parents, grandparents

and spouses of addicted individuals. We practice compassion and promote

education, self-help and wrap-around care before, during, and after treatment.
